Influences from the pandemic
As we are a 100% digitized company, we currently do not fear any restrictions due to the current pandemic. It can cause intermittent problems when hardware fails and needs to be replaced. We use data centers in Frankfurt am Main and Düsseldorf, so the acute situation in the risk areas can lead to longer hardware maintenance. We suspect a slight decrease in order volume and inquiries about (our) online services. However, as a company, we are doing everything we can to roll out our services as planned, and nothing stands in the way of the release of WooCommerce and TWM at the moment. The Shopware connection is also on the right track.
Our employees have been instructed to work from home and to follow the general instructions of the RKI. So far we have not had any infection within the company to complain about, which allows us to look positively to the coming time. We have suspended visits and business trips in order not to expose our employees to any risk.
Hope for a quick end to the pandemic
We hope that the pandemic will end quickly and expect the population to be very willing to buy as soon as the situation has eased. As soon as the worst is over, we will set the update intervals more closely, if necessary, to meet a possibly high request.
As we learned with the H1N1 swine flu pandemic, it makes sense to use the time to grow the business. During this time, it makes sense to implement SEO measures to modernize the shop and to check the legal aspects in the shop.
