What is an eBay Lister?
An eBay Lister is software that lets you automatically post, manage, and sync items on eBay — instead of creating each listing manually. The import2shop eBay Lister handles listing creation, category mapping, stock and price sync, and filling in Item Specifics — with AI on demand.
In which eBay countries can I list?
The eBay Lister currently supports 6 marketplaces: eBay.de (Germany), eBay.at (Austria), eBay.es (Spain), eBay.co.uk (UK), eBay.fr (France), and eBay.it (Italy). One eBay account can be connected per country.
How does the AI support work?
eBay requires mandatory Item Specifics for each category (e.g., brand, material, model). If they’re missing from your product data, the integrated AI suggests fitting values and can resolve listing errors automatically. Descriptions can also be optimized via AI.
How does the stock and price sync work?
Changes to stock or prices are tracked in a changelog and sent to the eBay Inventory API in bundles (up to 25 offers per request). This keeps your eBay listings automatically in sync with your other sales channels — not a real-time stream, but reliable, batched sync.
Are Item Specifics maintained automatically?
Yes. The Item Specifics (Aspects) required by eBay are synced daily via the eBay API. Required fields missing from your product data can be filled in automatically by the AI — you just need to approve them.
Do I need an eBay seller account?
Yes, a commercial eBay seller account. You connect it with import2shop in a few clicks via OAuth — you don’t need to share your login. The token is stored securely and renewed automatically.
Is the eBay Lister GPSR-compliant?
Yes. The eBay Lister automatically transfers GPSR-required information (manufacturer, EU representative) to eBay, provided it’s in your product data. This has been mandatory for EU marketplaces since December 2024 — without this data, listings are taken down.
Are orders from eBay imported automatically?
Yes, optionally. If order management is enabled, eBay orders are imported and can be sent back to eBay with the tracking number after shipping — including buyer anonymization after fulfilled contract.
How are shipping and return policies managed?
You set up your shipping, payment, and return policies once in your eBay account. import2shop reads them and assigns them to your listings centrally — no maintenance per item.
What happens with failed listings?
If a listing fails, a task is created automatically — e.g. “confirm category” or “missing required Aspect”. Many tasks can be auto-resolved by AI, others you can handle manually in bulk.
